Remember to name your strings. E A D G B E. In this lesson, we will continue with your newest song, then we will also add on 2 new chords. You are really moving along now!!
Lesson #10 Add on Little Drummer Boy
In this lesson we are moving on!! Please start by naming your strings, E A D G B E, which coincides with strings 6 5 4 3 2 1. Then, tune your guitar, or get help to tune it. We will review with your previous song, then, add on a Christmas song, Little Drummer Boy. Please remember that you can pause and back up this lesson at any time. We are already starting to move faster, so you may need to pause and go over something, then move along. You are really improving now!! Print your song out and add it to your binder. Good Luck!!
Lesson #9 continued-Extra Practice-work on Rockin’ Robin chords
Please make sure your guitar is tuned. Let’s simply work on the chord progressions in the song, Rockin’ Robin. Having your song sheet, or the PDF in front of you will help with this practice. You should use this and previous videos to play your guitar for at least 5 days to be ready for the release of the next video.
Lesson #9 Continued-More extra practice-Review your strum
Let’s do an extra review of your beginner rock beat strum. First, please do get some help to be sure your guitar is tuned, or, use your tuner, if you’ve done my technique video on using a clip on tuner. If you want to match my tone in this video, I’m using an “A” chord throughout the practice. We will go over the difference between having a smooth strum, or a country swing in your strum.

Let’s take a break from the new song, and just play Ol’ Texas together slowly. Back building by working on your earlier songs really helps make learning a new song, a lot easier. Name your strings, E A D G B E, tune your guitar, and get your song sheet in front of you.

Lesson #9 Continue Rockin’ Robin
Let’s continue working on your new song, and new chord, D. Have your songbook ready, with Ol Texas, and He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands, as we are going to use them as your warm up for this lesson. Then we will break down Rockin’ Robin, and get started on it.
Lesson #8 add on Rockin’ Robin
We are moving along well now. We will use your first song, Ol’ Texas, as a warm up, and we will play some of your second song. Then we will drill using your new chord, D, and then start our newest song, Rockin’ Robin. Try to print out your song and add it to your binder so all your songs are ready to play with this lesson.
Lesson #7 Continue He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands
Let’s continue working on your second song. We will do some drills, go over Ol’ Texas, go over our new song, and, practice your new chord, D. Please make sure to tune your guitar, if possible, and, have your binder ready, with your song sheets in it. Play your guitar at least 10-20 minutes a day, at least 4 days/week, using all the early videos that you need, before your next lesson is released.
