Here is one more fun song to add to your repertoire. Once you’ve accomplished Lesson 15, this should be pretty easy. It has the same chords you know, just with a lot of changes. Take your time and repeat this, and any lesson, as much as you need to.
This Mexican favorite is a great crowd pleaser. Have fun working on this one. It has all chords that you know well by now, A, E7, D, & A7. If you have trouble working on this, because of the Spanish, it is not critical to learn this one to continue progressing with my methods. You can move on to lesson 17. But, you should give it a shot. Great fun!
Now that you’ve done lessons 15, and 15-1, working close up on chord changes, you can do this lesson and work on playing Blue Clear Sky, slowly. Don’t rush this one. It’s the hardest thing you’ve learned so far. If this is too difficult, spend more time doing lesson 15-1, Chord Close Up, to improve your changes.
Name your strings E A D G B E
In this video we will start a brand new song called Blue Clear Sky. We will cover the main chord progression that happens during this song. It’s getting a little more difficult, with closer chords changes, plus, one easy new chord, but you’ve got this!
Name your strings E A D G B E
This short video will help you if you are having trouble changing from A to D. Use it as much or as little as you need.

It helps to watch and listen to my kids sing a song when you are about to learn it. You should listen to this George Jones song, Lovebug, before you start working on it. It will be very helpful to get the melody in your head.
Make sure to name your strings first. E A D G B E
In this lesson, let’s continue working on Rudolph. You should be moving along nicely now, so we will add another song, which will give you 2 more simple chords to learn.
Watch and listen as my students play and sing Rudolph. It helps to get the song in your head as you are learning to play it on guitar.
