Guitar Made Simple
Let’s do some extra practice on chords, including our new chord, “D”. You should use Lesson 5, and this lesson 5 practice session for at least 3-4 days, so you are ready when your next lesson is released.
Going over A & E7, and our strum, rock beat. With each lesson, we will move a little faster. Again, please be sure you know your string names, E A D G B E, so you can use your clip on tuner to tune your guitar. Don’t be afraid to ask around for help with tuning. There is always someone in your life who plays some guitar. If not, ask your nearby music store, or, your school music teacher, church music minister, or youth group music minister. You should use this lesson for playing your guitar daily for at least practices, before moving on to Lesson #3.
Here is a practice video to use after your first lesson. This one helps explain our strum, rock beat, with close up video of my right hand. Play this and use for practice as many times as you need to improve your strum.
Let’s work on your first chords, close up. Remember, Practice makes perfect. Use this and the next practice session for several days before moving on.
