2 Run Rudolph Run

So this is a song, with very easy chords. What we are working on, is keeping a good rhythm with your soft rock strum, and being able to speed it up. Take your time, to increase the speed of your strumming, slowly. If you try to play really fast early on, it could frustrate you.  Also, remember, don’t strum from your elbow; you should be using the action in your wrist, fingers, and forearm, to create a fast strum.

1 The Musical Universe and Guitar Notes in the Open Position

Welcome to level 3!  Congratulations on getting this far.

We’re going to start working on a little bit of music theory.  I will help you understand the spacing between notes in the musical universe, and how they relate to the fret board on your guitar.  I will also teach you how to play the notes in the open position on your guitar.  It’s take some work, but I know you can do it.

Mass Parts 4 Sanctus Holy Holy Gokelman & Kauffman

We are on the 4th song from the Gokelman & Kauffman mass settings.  This is the Holy Holy.  It is probably the busiest, of all the songs. There are a lot of changes, and it plays pretty fast.  Again, be patient, take your time, and practice, practice, practice.

Mass Parts 1 Mystery of Faith Gokelman & Kauffman

This is the beginning of the some of the hardest chords and changes you will do, thus far.  We are now working on the Catholic Mass Settings from the Gokelman & Kauffman mass.  Our first part will be the Mystery of Faith, or The Memorial.  Take it very slowly.  Learn your chords, and break down the changes in the song, into drills.
